This statement means that in order to not lose your freedom you will have to do the right. It also means that in order to be able to manage in life by yourself, you will have to prove it by doing and following the rules. In life, we wonder how can’t we get our freedom away. Freedom and independence is all we ask for, but sometimes that independence is taken away. For example, a kid was failing one of his classes. He wasn't following the rules/isn’t going in the correct way, which is failing his class. Since he wasn’t following what's correct, his freedom was taken away as he got grounded and couldn't hang out with friends. If he instead started to get serious, and began to do good in that class, his freedoms wouldn’t get taken away. That is why you should simply follow the rules. Breaking them will have consequences, which one of them is your freedom taken away. Independence and freedom is what everyone wants, but many don’t follow the rules. After breaking the rules, and face the consequences, many people regret their decisions. That is why you shouldn't have done it in the first place.

“They are truly great who are truly great”

This statement is saying that in order to be great you have to be a good person. In life there is many debates on who is the best soccer player, or best of something. Although they are good at that, they may not be “truly great. In order to be truly great you have to be a good person. To be a truly great person you have to be kind have have the qualities of a ctr cham;pion. You don’t have to be good at anything but being a good person. If you are a good person, you truly are great because you show that being great is great.So the best soccer player in the world can not be truly great. An example of this would be a good soccer player who played for his coolgee. He was so talented that he was going to play in the national team, but in reality  he wasn't great. The soccer player wasn't great because he had a bad attitude towards others, and disrespected others. If he were a better person, he would be truly better. Even if he didn’t have his soccer skills, and if he were still a good person, he would be truly great. So to summarize, your talents, skills, amount of money, or power doesn't make you great, but your personality and kindness.

“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term gain, but it isn’t. In addition using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater don’t do it”

This statement is saying that cheating is not the way in life, or in anything. In life we have to deal with obstacles and things that make us imperfect. Although we want to overcome them, we want ways to do so. In those obstacles, some people may cheat in order to get success. Although cheating makes you succeed, you did it in a bad way. Cheating is not the way, like how using steroid can be used in sports. An example of cheating would be in a test. A kid wanted to get a good grade in the test, or else the kid would retake the class. The kid decided to cheat, and got a good score. Although the kid got a good grade, the kid felt bad. The kid felt bad as he did the bad. The kid felt bad because others in the class had to study hard to get a good grade. Lthough cheating gives you an advantage, it is bad. There are other ways to succeed, like practicing and preparing yourself for that obstacle. So instead of using steroids, athletes should train hard in order to succeed. Shortcuts aren’t the way in life. To succeed you have to suffer, not cheat. That is why you shouldn't cheat.

There are requirements to have this opportunity like being able to spare 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Earth day volunteer

In this volunteer opportunities, you work with other volunteers to celebrate Earth day. You plant many plants, and you take out weeds. This is done in earth day. There are several organizations that do this, but one of them is in San Pedro. To do this opportunity, you have to be able to care about Earth and willing to work hard for it, by planting plants, and doing a lot of work.

Food bank volunteer

There are many volunteers needed for the food bank. There are many volunteer opportunities like sorting the foods, and volunteers that can help with many food drives or other events. To be involved in this opportunity, you have to be at least 14 years old, and you are able to donate your time into this volunteering opportunity.

“I won’t cheat”

It is saying that you won’t break the rules of the game and you won’t be dishonest. In life we want to be perfect.Although no one in life is perfect, we wonder about ways we can show others we are. One of those ways is by cheating, but in this way you are being dishonest. Cheating is where you are dishonest and you don’t use any of your knowledge into something. Although it may be good even though its bead, it is bad in many reasons. If you cheat you will be dishonest, and you won’t show what you are truly capable of.  You are better off doing your best than cheating. Two main reasons is because you will have to face consequences if caught, and it is unfair to others.For example, a kid had to take a huge test, and did not study. He decided to use a paper with all the answers with all the scores. Although he cheated and got a good score, he was later caught. This was bad for a number of reasons. In that test others could have studied hard and may not have performed to get a good grade, but at least they were honest. Cheating is bad, and although someone may not get caught, they won’t be lucky next time.

“Character Matters Most”

This stemnet means that out of everything, you should care about character. In the world, there is many things that we care about, We care about succeeding in life, and other of our personal goals. Although you should care about those, one thing you should care about most is character. Character may not seem big, but it is. With character, it defines somebody. Your character matters most because it shows who you are. Dale Murphy was very successful in baseball. Although he cared about his career he did care about his character the most. He cared about his character even more than any homerun he has ever made. An  example of this would be of a wealthy man who cared about money. Caring about money mattered to him, and he was a very ,mean person towards everyone. One day he didn't get respect from his friends, so that’s when character mattered to him. Instead of being mean to others., he became good,. See this is why it matter. It matters to you because you think about yourself, and your relations with others. If you have a bad attitude, and have other thing that matter to you, you will one day realize character is what you should matter about. Character effects in other ways, which those you care about. That is why you care about character.

St Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick was a christian Missionary who lived during the 5th century. He was born in Great Britain, but he lived in Ireland, where he was a christian missionary. He did a lot of things like go to churches like Old Catholic church, and several other churches in Ireland. He spread Christianity throughout Ireland.

It’s purpose is to celebrate about St Patrick, who was a Saint in Ireland. It is a religious ceremony in Ireland to remember him. Although, here in America it is about clovers, and green, we don’t know what is the true reason why we celebrate it.

It is designated when it is because that was the day that Saint Patrick died. So in honor of him, it is celebrated in his death.\

There is a curtain color is green and it is used mainly because those were the colors that represent Ireland. Green has been used throughout history in many revolutions, and also, in the past when Irish immigrants moved to U.S.A, the Irish immigrant did protest wearing green. So the color green isn’t really related to St Patrick, but to the Irish.

Most Americans don’t know the true story of this Holiday. I thought that it was about the leprechaun and clover, but in reality it is celebrated to honor St Patrick. Also I didn’t know about it’s origin. It is an irish holiday.

“Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use,a right heart exceeds all”:

This statement means that the most rid=chest thing in the world is a good heart. In life, we want the best. Sometimes we may ask ourselves about this and would desire to have that richness. Having a lot of money, jewelers may seem good, but they have no use. They can’t do the things that having a good heart can. Having a good heart means that you are kind and generous to others. If you do that, you will feel good afterwards. Also it is better than riches because you motivate others to follow. Money can’t fix the world in order for it to become free of violence, but having a good heart can. An example of how good heart exceeds all is a rich man. He is happy and has a ton of money. He just didn’t feel happy. One day he saw a poor women, but the man never donated money or was never generous. But the man decided to give the women money. The man felt very happy afterwards, and began to have a good heart. After donating all his money to others over time, he didn’t need to be rich. He can live with a good heart.

Volunteer Opportunities in LA

Ucla Hospital volunteer

In this opportunity, in the hospital the intern will be able to help the families who have a family member that is going to surgery. They will be able to escort the family members to the surgery room after surgery. I think is is a very good volunteer opportunity, and to get signed up, all you have to do is to call the Middle's room coordinator.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles voletter

You will work in the Children’s Hospital Of Los Angeles, and you have to escort the family members to the room where their family member is in. You are also able to read books with children, and play with them. In order to be a volunteer you have to be older than 15 years old.In order to play and entertain a patient, you have to be older than 18 years old. You are also required to sacrifice 3-4 hours of your time helping around the hospital. To get signed up, you have to call the hospital.

Saban Community Clinic

In this opportunity you are able to entertain the patients, escort the family members of a patient to the room the patient is in, and help the doctor with their files.You have to fill out an application to the Saban Community clinic in order to be able to volunteer. In order to be a volunteer, you have to be committed to use help the clinic for about 5 hours.

This student success statement takes time to think about the meaning of the statement. It is saying that you can do a decision that can affect the rest of the future. In life we do things we may not know have a n effect later on. There is even events in life that can affect the future instantly. For example a school shooter who killed 30 students has done a bad decision that has affected his eternity right of the bat. Another example is a teen eating a lot of junk food. In about 30 years later the teen had diabetes. In this example it affected the teens furutre, but took time unlike the other example. Either way both examples are of people doing choices that affect the future. You can do the most greatest thing now, and have a good future. You can do the most bad action and affect your future negatively. That is why each thing should be thought out before you do it. The most smallest choices can have an impact in your life. That is why you should think and choose a good action. An example of doing a good action is donating money to charity. If you do that you will be remembered for being a good person and have respect. Do the correct decisions that influence your life in a good way. You can destroy your lie in one action.

Ophthalmologists are doctors who specialize in the eye and in many eye problems. They specialize in treating many eye problems and examining the eyes.

This statement means that in order to know your future , you should make make it up. This statement is meaning that you should simply plan it out in order to have one. This statement to me was kind of misunderstanding to me, but after a deep thought I got it. In life we are wondering what is our destiny in life. In order to have one, you need to decide it. Deciding it is the best way you'll know because you will already know what you will be doing if you work for it. If you worked hard for that future you desire, you will get it. For example imagine a kid who was poor, but he wanted to be a lawyer. He worked hard, and nothing stopped, not even the porrness. He eventually got a scholarship to USC to become a lawyer. He later become one, so he already had his future predicted. That is why you should have a created one, so you can be able to do it. You should also work hard to reach to that created future in order for it to be a reality.

Operator Room Technician

Operator Room technicians are people who help in surgeons in surgeries. They also set up the needed equipment before surgery.

It means that you should always question yourself if you are doing the correct or the wrong. It also means that after you have found what is right for you, you should do it. In life we always have to ask ourselves of something. We can ask ourselves if you like the pair of shoes or not. But one thing that you should always ask yourself is if you are doing the correct. Also you should follow the correct. For example, imagine a man who wastes his money on gambling. The man won once, so he decided that it was a good way to win money. So he decided to gamble, but if he gambled he would lose everything. So the man should ask himself what is wrong and right. After figuring out what is right, which is not to gamble, he should do the correct. The bad always has consequences. The good in the other hand, has rewarding prize. That is why you should question yourself before you act.’

It means that honor appears when you do well in something. This statement is reflects everything from today. Every singer you know is honored and respected as they do good. They are known and honored for their ability to sing. So in order for you to earn honor, do well in something. That is how people get honor and respect. The statement is also saying that you should do the right or “wellness”. If you do the opposite doing the bad you won’t receive honor. In fact you will receive dishonor. A nursing home administrator are people who do several task in nursing homes. They do task like help the people there.

Being a catholic, you should always avoid doing things that move you away from god. If you do the bad you won’t be taken care of. You should simply do the right. For example if someone dropped their wallet, the thing that you do next defines you. If you give it back to the man your good. If you keep it, you won’t be taken care of. A neurosurgeon is a  physician who treats and diagnosis many problems throughout the nervous system. They work in parts of the brain, spinal cord, and other parts of the nervous system.

I would not like to become one because I think it requires a lot of time to become one. Also I think that the career doesn’t fit me.
